Date / Time: Saturday March 29, 10am - 4pm (with plenty of breaks)
Location: Helen Kate Furness Free Library, 100 N Providence Rd, Wallingford, PA 19086
Age: 18+ (will hopefully have a youth class this summer though, once I complete the required certifications)
Course Info: This is a one-day class on the basics of Python (a popular programming language), and a general introduction to some fundamental concepts in computer science. It's meant for complete beginners -- if you've never written a line of code before in your life, you're the target audience!
Instructor Info: My name's Mike Saint-Antoine, and I've been writing code professionally for about 10 years now. For my day-job, I work at a biology research lab at UPenn, and I enjoy teaching these classes in my free time. If you'd like to know more about me, here's my personal website.
Snack Situation: No guarantees, but I'll try to stop by Wawa first to pick up some donuts and coffee for us.
